Fabulous Stay at West Valley Inn! After a long 6-hour drive, we were beyond relieved to be greeted with fresh coffee in the lobby - such a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for our stay. Then we stepped into our room and we were impressed. Spacious, spotless, and so incredibly welcoming. From the neatly folded towels to the in-room coffee machine area and the massive king bed, every detail was spot-on. We were also pleasantly surprised by all the extras: a fridge, microwave, ample space to move around—wow! It felt like more than just a hotel room; it felt like a cozy little retreat. The pool area was inviting and relaxing. After checking in, we went to explore the city (only a 15-minute drive away!) and knew that we could come back and still enjoy the pool since it’s open until 10 pm. That’s a win in our books. Little things like the automatic night lights when heading to the bathroom added an extra layer of comfort and convenience that we didn’t know we needed. Whether you’re traveling as a family, couple, or solo, this place ticks all the boxes. The only tiny letdown? Breakfast. Don’t set your expectations too high—but hey, the waffles were delicious and they had Nutella, so it still ended on a sweet note! We would absolutely come back. West Valley Inn is a gem for anyone looking to enjoy Salt Lake City without sacrificing comfort, space, or a late-night swim.

A bit affordable and a alright prize my flight was rescheduled for the following day but I did enjoy the stay for that night and theirs shops around that area.

The breakfast was a mixed bag. It's largely Continental it's largely Continental. The waffle maker undercooks and the juice machine was out of most of the juices. But the muffins and The toast and the cereal were okay. But then, it's a trade-off. The price was right

I spent 3 nights here. The staff is truly incredible! Everyone was so helpful and kind. I had my cat and he was welcomed as well. The location is close to restaurants, convenience stores, nail salon, and shopping. Our room was large, nice and bright, furnishings were really nice. The bed and pillows were fresh and so comfy. The air conditioning was on point, the shower was clean and had great pressure. Housekeeping checked in every day to see if I needed anything, the garbage was emptied every morning. I recommend mm

It was a wonderful experience, A was especially helpful and kind, if I needed to come to Utah again I would recommend or Stay @ West Valley Inn Again. Although the Breakfast Selection could be improved with more dairy free products and vegan options. Thank you for a wonderful Work/Vacation Break I am looking forward to staying here again - Taylor

Was under construction during my visit in July 2025 but did not negatively impact my visit. For $60/night it exceeded expectations. Did not use the pool. Breakfast was minimal - waffles, muffins, & cereal - but again, my expectations for a $60/night were exceeded. No gluten free options at breakfast.

Super affordable for a needed 1 night stay. Carpet was stained, but our bedding and shower were clean unlike some other reviewers. Their free bfast was small but they have a nice espresso machine that was good. Pool was open, but hot tub looked out of order. They were remodeling the outside when we were there.
